I am a photographer (cq. fautographe) operating exclusively with analogue techniques. That pertains to the whole process: from taking the picture to producing the final print, usually in the darkroom. I love to work with simple, mechanic cameras, expired, locally produced photography materials, and obsolete or do-it-yourself printmaking techniques. In my photography, I celebrate reality, sometimes creating new realities in the process. The prevailing mood of my work is nostalgic, evoking past worlds that never were and capturing that which is inevitably & continuously lost. The Retrogardia website has been patiently coded by hand in HTML, using Notepad and FTP.
