On this page we want to tell you something
about ourselves!
Boaz:
25 I will be when I get married. I am born in the small army place ’t Harde
(in the neighborhood of Harederwijk).
There I lived till my 7th year. Then we moved to Zwijndrecht and there I lived about 15 years. In the mean time I had 12 studies and 13
jobs. Finally I then started with
personnel sciences. Past September I also started with Theology in Utrecht
and I hope in 5 years to be a preacher at the Baptist church. I want to round off Personnel sciences this
year with a thesis about the relation between philosophy of life and behaviour
in organizations. This moment, I am
unemployed, but I have been active in the catering industry, printer, electronics
trade, computer trade, helpdesk, travel guide and host at a campsite.
On the study personnel sciences I found my spot and also my true love:
Loes. After firstly wanting nothing to
do with her, we became after a few year very good friends. That grew till our next marriage!
We both love Scotland. I also spent my
time on mountain biking, diving, reading, watching movies and traveling
(especially Europe). I am a lunatic for
the newest gadgets and the comparing of products. As for music, I love Belgian
noise (trance, dance and pop)! Furthermore
I listen to Michael W. Smith, The Corrs and Blof. If you want to know more about me: http://www.vanluijk.be/boaz .
Loes:
How nice of you to
take the time to look at our website! For the people who do not know me that
well yet, I would like to write some lines about myself. I grew up in the
south of Holland, in a small village with my parents, a sister and brother. I
remember my childhood to be a really happy one. From home I went to study and
live in Tilburg where I met Boaz. It took us about two years before we got
together, but when we made it, it turned out to be a perfect match! Right
know we are both students, even though I am working part-time at the company
I did my internship. The other thing we have in common is our faith in God. I
am really thankful that I got to know God as a caring and loving God who
walks with me trough all kinds of weather. I am happy that we can welcome all
our guests, especially the foreign ones, to this special day of our lives. I
am sure that we will make it a day to remember!
